ABOUT THE LIBRARY
The Franklin Library Media Center is located on the second floor, in the southwest corner.  Follow the signs throughout the building.

Hours:
8 a.m. -  4 p.m. Monday -  Friday

Materials:
9,700 fiction and nonfiction books
Magazines
Computer Lab
Video camera, Flip videos, DVD players for staff checkout

Policies
     Checkout
     Students may check out materials anytime during the school day.
         Kindergarten:  1 book
         1st-2nd:  2 books
         3rd-4th:  3-4 books
    Overdues
    Students may have items checked out for 2 school cycles.  When items become overdue, a notice is sent to the students.  Students are allowed to renew items if there is no waiting list.  Franklin does not charge fines for late items, but students are accountable for materials that they check out.  If a book is lost or damaged, students are asked to pay a replacement cost.
     Library Behavior Expectations
     Students are expected to follow the Franklin Belief Statement, as they do in all areas of Franklin School.
